After the Schumpert Medical Center 1994 expansion and facelift, the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word asked Slack Alost to begin the planning and design process for developing the Center's property along Jordan Street at Line Avenue.

Schumpert On Line is the first of several facilities that will be located on the Schumpert campus. The two-story facility houses Orthopedic Medicine and Physical Therapy and features a physical therapy pool. Clinic office wings extend from the building's core to the north along Jordan and west along Line. Large drop-off canopies and carefully landscaped terraces soften the dramatically sloping site. A brick skylight tower located at the building's entry carries the Center's corporate logo and image into the public eye along one of Shreveport's busiest streets.
